Skilled Laborer Commercial Construction
Overview
We are a new and growing Commercial General Contractor. Our projects are mostly located in Greater Portland area. Looking for an experienced/skilled laborer carpenter willing to grow. Steel stud framing, drywall experience and concrete work is a plus. Has ability to hang drywall and tape for small patch backs when required. We do many small to mid size warehouse/office remodels and main quality we value is honesty and keeping your word. You must have ability to work alone safely, have reliable transportation with good driving record. Ideally, we would like to build up skills and promote from within.
Responsibilities
- Frame and demo steel stud walls/ceilings
- Drywall patchbacks/taping for small projects
- Ability to read plans
- Can layout walls per plan details
- Assist Superintendent/Project Manager on various small projects
- Help keep jobsite clean and locked up at end of day
- Show up on time
- Keep a clean and professional appearance
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs waist level safely
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Journeyman level steel stud framing and drywall main skills. Others below would be a plus and if not we can teach you as long as you have willingness to learn.
- Doors/Hardware
- Restroom Accessories (grab bars, seat cover dispensers, etc) and Partitions
- Concrete and form framing
- Plumbing
- Flooring
- Painting
- Epoxy floor patching
